A warm welcome to my site! My name is Suzanne but most friends call me Suus. I am born in Vlaardingen, a city in The Netherlands on the 13th of April 1995. Since February 2018 have I changed my home address to Rotterdam since my partner and I bought a house.
I have a bachelor in Computer Science from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a master in Business Informatics from the University of Utrecht. I am now working as an IT consultant for the Dutch government.
I always loved to explore. In my youth we always went camping and during a vacation I would explore the surroundings all day long. Nowadays, I do not go camping anymore but exploring is still a big part of my life. I love to travel and try to be out of the country as much as my job allows it.
After my first flight I developed a case of restless feet combined with a desire to see the world, one country at a time! Since I met my partner, Maarten, the number of trips I have taken has increased significantly. We both love to travel which lead us to live in Norway for half a year, backpacking in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand and surfing in France. While living in Norway I started taking pictures and writing blogs to up-date our family members and this grew into a website. Now I try to keep the website up-to-date with new stories after every journey.
I hope that some of my stories inspire or give you ideas for new trips!
