Visiting Pisa for a Day
Visiting Pisa would be my second time in Italy, so I was already looking forward to all the good food I experienced the first time I visited Italy. The food did not disappoint, but visiting the main attraction of Pisa did. The Leaning Towerof Pisa is worth visiting for its impressive cathedral complex, but the the complex is realy crowded.
One day in Pisa is more than enough to climb the Leaning Tower and discover the sights on the Square of Miracles. In fact, Pisa could be seen in only half a day, if you’re short on time. It’s a great destination for a day trip from Florence. All major attractions are within walking distance of each other, so that is a plus if you want to be here for a short time.
If you want to explore more of the city such as Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and stroll along Corso Italia, enter and visit the Pisa Baptistery, Pisa Cathedral, Cemetery Campo Santo and Santa Maria della Spina I would advise to take some more time than one day.
